The added value of cross-border project was the creation of unique pilot cycling marketing model in border regions, which additionally connects physical infrastructure and providers of tourism products and services on both sides of the border. By connecting the tourism providers in the cross-border area, cross-border cooperation strengthens, and intercultural dialogue that connects people on the Croatian and Slovenian side is preserved. Project activities contributed to lasting and sustainable development of the cross-border area based on the optimal use of natural and cultural resources and responsible use of resources. The existing tourist offer, complemented with the new tourist facilities for cycling and equestrian tourism, and untouched rich cultural and natural heritage of target groups were presented by joint appearance on the world tourism market.
