use of the Internet as a simple and more effective way of promotion and marketing of agricultural products; development of direct sales of agricultural products realized at the farms; increasing liquidity in agriculture which is characterized by a low coefficient of working capital; increasing the satisfaction of customers, who personally acquire purchased products from producers and have immediate access to production technology, freshness and quality of the purchased agricultural products; availability of agricultural products to consumers at lower prices, as is the case with the chain of distribution and sales constituted by multiple intermediaries (dealers and traders). The added value of the project was reflected in improved marketing of agricultural products and the achievement of higher revenue and income to the agricultural economy in both cross-border areas. Outputs of the project were: visual identity of the project; database of examples of direct on-line sale of agricultural products in Italy and Austria; 2 study field trips to Italy and Austria accomplished; SWOT analyses; professional basis for the creation of web application; database of family holdings in Istria; 2 seminars for farmers and consumers of agricultural product; 4 workshops about the use of web application for farmers;
