Through this project pupil\/student\u2013innovators in Croatian-Slovenian cross-border region gained the knowledge and experience to protect and commercialise their ideas or inventions. As well, they gained knowledge how to establish cooperation with other stakeholders (enterprises, educational institutions, research and development institutions, financial institutions, potential investors and public bodies). Improved communication and exchange of knowledge and experience has result in the development of existing or new technologies, new markets and consumer trends. Through this project, 1 education program was developed. After the education, pupils\/students innovators were ready to became the carriers of future innovative and sustainable development. In this way the project helped in the creation of educational standards for pupil\/student innovators, which improves the entrepreneurial skills of pupils\/students innovators and enhance the entrepreneurial climate in the cross-border area. Also, with the help of this project, standards for networking of business partners from Croatia and Slovenia were developed. With these standards, the exchange of know-how and experience in the cross-border area was encouraged.
