The kick-off conference on project DETOX was held in the Municipality of Lenart on October 19. The conference marked the official start of the project DETOX which is one of 5 approved projects within the first deadline of the Open call of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia in the programme period 2014-2020.<\/p>\n

Mayor of the Municipality of Lenart, mag. Janez Kramberger, presented the most relevant information about the project. The total value of project is 908.448,50 EUR and the value of ERDF funds approved for this project is 772.181,21 EUR or 85% of the total value of project. \u00a0The project is expected to last from October 2016 to September 2018. Seven partners cooperate in the project, and they are: lead partner Municipality of Lenart, Vara\u017edin City Museum, University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Municipality of Vinica, Municipality of Sveti Andra\u017e v Slovenskih goricah, Municipality of Donja Vo\u0107a, Municipality of Sveta Ana and two associated partners.<\/p>\n

The overall objective of the project is to actively preserve the ethnological heritage of rural areas and include it in the CB sustainable tourism package and the project\u2019s expected change is to achieve a connected and attractive offer, as well as a revival of ethno tourism with increase of cultural heritage visitors by 8,000 visits.<\/p>\n

The assembly was addressed also by member of Joint Secretariat. She congratulated the project partners on singing the Subsidy Contract and wished them success with the project`s implementation.<\/p>\n
