Regional development and EU funds Days

The conference „Regional development and EU funds Days”, organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union funds, was held in Šibenik from 5^th  to 7^th of October. The conference was organized so that numerous representatives of ministries, counties, cities, municipalities, regional coordinators and other institutions important for regional development would receive important information on the possibilities of funding from EU funds and exchange experiences, connect and strengthen cooperation at the local, regional and national level in order to implement as many projects as possible.

More than 2,000 participants participated in the conference during the above mentioned period, attending numerous presentations, workshops and lectures, signing co-operation agreements with regional coordinators, and also participating in EU opportunities event, European Territorial Cooperation Day, presentation of the successful EU projects and presentation of the bearers of the Croatian Island Product Label.

The Joint Secretariat of the Cooperation Program Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia also participated in the work of the conference. Within the framework of the workshop European Territorial Cooperation: Opportunities and Challenges, the members of the Joint Secretariat presented the Cooperation Program Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia and answered the questions of the workshop participants.
