Focused 4^th deadline for projects in the field of safety (civil protection, rescue and emergency services) and cross-border sustainable mobility services opened until 12 October 2021

 

 

The focused 4^th deadline of the Open Call for Proposals has been published on 15 July 2021 for projects in the field of safety (civil protection, rescue and  emergency services) and cross-border sustainable mobility services (Priority Axis 3, Investment Priority 11). The deadline for the submission of project proposals is 12 October 2021 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).

Within the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia (CP SI-HR), 38 projects have been approved so far, with a total contractual value of approx. 43 million EUR from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The programme co-finances activities on three priority axes. Under Priority Axis 1, “Integrated flood risk management in transboundary river basins “, 4 projects have been approved so far, with a total value of approx. 10 million EUR ERDF funds. 26 projects, with a total value of approx. 28 million ERDF funding, have been approved under Priority Axis 2, “Preservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources “. In the area of “Healthy, safe and accessible border areas” (Priority Axis 3), 8 projects have been approved with a total value of approx. 5 million EUR ERDF.

Despite the fact that the CP SI-HR successfully pursues the established performance framework and achieves all set programme indicators it does not cover the area of cross-border public transport and sustainable mobility services at the level of results to be achieved by Member States with the support of the Union and the supported framework measure, while the field of security services (civil protection, rescue services and rescuers) is underrepresented (Priority Axis 3, Priority Investment 11).

In accordance with the conclusion 5.2 at the 11^th Monitoring Committee Meeting a focused 4^th deadline of the Open Call for the submission of projects has been published on the programme website on 15 July 2021.

The deadline is focused on project proposals from the 3^rd priority axis, »Healthy, safe and accessible border areas«, in the field of safety (civil protection, rescue and  emergency services) or in the field of cross-border  sustainable mobility services.

The 4^th deadline for the submission of project applications will close on 12 October 2021 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
