Project summary

In the project “Common border cross environment standards”, with the acronym “48 hours”, the communities Štore, Podčetrtek, Zagorska Sela, Razvojna agencija Sotla, and the environmental research institute all joined their knowledge and work plans. The project lasted from September 2009 to January 2012. During this time, the partners from the Slovenian-Croatian cross-border area actively participated in the environmental network, informing and encouraging individuals, together with Slovene and foreign investors, about the importance of sustainable environmental investments affecting our living environment. With joined planning, management and development of natural sources on the cross border area they reduced the environmental risks. The main product was the transfer of knowledge about the reception of structural funding for the construction of infrastructure.
