Project summary

The specific cross-border objective of the project were: to improve the business cooperation and trade between companies, especially MSP from the project area, which work in the field of technological development and products / services connected to renewable energy sources (OVE) and the effective use of energy (URE); to improve the cooperation between the companies and educational institutions, developing technological solutions for OVE (URE), especially the development and the advancement in supportive services and cooperation between the supportive institutions on the project are. The OVE and URE are both rapidly advancing in developed countries, thus creating thousands of workplaces. Slovenia and Croatia are below average in this area. Because of the established obligations of countries regarding the increase in consumption of renewable-source energy, this sector is especially relevant. The development of the supporting models, the assurance of balanced, standardized and quality offers of development services on both sides of the order brings together the entire area of promotion of MSP cooperation. This is possible by the participation of public funding. The EU funds have stimulated the personal investments in participating companies, the opening of new job positions and indirectly contributed to the increase in economic power and competitiveness of the areas participating in the project and also the improvement of utilization of OVE, and with that contributed to the achievement of the main goals of EU in the area of sustainable development of economy.
