Project summary

Specific objectives of the cross-border project were: the transfer and exchange of knowledge, experience and models of good practices in the cross-border region, with intent to promote employment of people with disabilities and the long-term unemployed; development of innovative educational programs and services for people with disabilities, and other long-term unemployed people in cross-border region; revitalization of the cultural heritage of the cross-border region. Realization of the project resulted in significant synergy effects, increasing the quality of education among members of target groups, including the creation of innovative models of employment in Istria. The successful implementation of the project established and further expanded cooperation between regions and organizations active in supporting people with disabilities. Outputs of the project were: 2 adapted educational programs and training programs; 4 educational workshops for the target group members; a working unit; promotional-educational web page; promotional-educational flier of the project; 2 educational videos; 2 promotional videos; 2 info boards about the traditional manufacture of ceramic items; 2 educational festivals; 4 models of souvenirs based on traditional works of clay from the cross-border area.
