Project summary

Specific cross-border objectives of the project were: joint development of educational program and materials for education and training of kindergarten and primary school teachers, sport trainers and members of NGOs, which support people with disabilities; organization of training in the form of „blended learning“, a combination of classical learning and e-learning, which had resulted in preparing the target group of members for early integration of children in kindergarten and primary schools; transferring the good practice into kindergartens and school not participating in the pilot implementation. The added value of the project was an early integration and intervention, which significantly reduced the costs and improved the quality of life of people with disabilities, their caretakers and of local communities in which people with disabilities lived. Outputs of the project were: an analysis of the situation and needs of educational professionals to work with people with special needs; a bilingual education program; workshops for educators and teachers; a festival; a web site of the project; promotional material; and a press conference.
