Project summary

The specific cross-border objective of the project was to preserve a wide biological diversity in the target area by maintaining meadow orchards and old varieties of fruit and to preserve heritage in border area. The realization of this project has allowed the growth of knowledge about the value of these areas, the conservation of important biodiversity areas, which are also included in the NATURA 2000 areas. With the implementation of education during the project we have encouraged different thinking about the project area and with support to come up with new ideas for the development and use of resources. We will implement the activities that will contribute to the conservation of nature and clean drinking water across the border. The added value of IPA funds was best represented with the purchase of the mobile press and juice bottling machine as this has been permanently available to the entire border area. With the film we have shared knowledge and skills of the project area with the whole world.
