OHS / OKP – the purifying system of the waste waters and fecal station

Project summary

Specific cross-border objective of the project was to protect the water from pollution to protect the lives and health of people and the environment, enabling harmless and undisturbed use of water for various purposes. Before the project, the problem of wastewater was solved by dropping the water course, which is unacceptable. Therefore, considering the objectives of the development of water economic system, and striving towards achieving these goals, it was necessary to implement the measures and activities in the field of water protection, and to plan and develop a system for wastewater disposal. Investment for building the purifying system of the waste waters in settlement of Hum na Sutli and construction of fecal station for treatment of fecal waste from the septic tank in Rogaška Slatina, was a joint cross-border project, which was supported in an effort to protect their environment for both local governments. The outputs of the project were: one built purifying system and fecal station; and an analysis after it was put into function (every three months).
