Project summary
Objective of the project was to improve the competitiveness of SMEs and crafts in the Slovenian-Croatian cross-border area via the implementation of joint activities to improve vocational education programs, information on career opportunities and support services for entrepreneurs / small entrepreneurs. After the education, pupils in vocational schools were able to gain know-how, competencies and information that will allow them to become the carriers of future innovative and sustainable development. The project has helped in the creation of educational standards for students of vocational schools, which have improved the entrepreneurial skills of pupils and the business climate in cross-border area. Outputs of the project were: 2 meetings with SMEs/crafts; 2 meetings with students; situation analysis on the labor market needs document; “train-the-trainer” program for mentors in vocational education schools in Croatia and Slovenia; 2 teaching materials for the implementation of 4 training modules of “train-the-trainer” program; 2 mentor trainings; 2 student testing; report on the recommendation of conducted “train-the-trainer” program; 2 individual support programs for potential entrepreneurs and 2 for SMEs/crafts; 20 individual work meetings with SMEs/crafts and potential entrepreneurs; 6 training workshops; 2 student seminars; bilingual project website; final project conference; visual identity of the project.
