Due to overwhelming interest in small-scale projects, the available funds under the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia programme have been increased from €720,555.00 to a total of €1,440,000 from the ERDF.
Cross-border cooperation projects are designed to support smaller events aimed at fostering mutual trust. These projects primarily focus on activities that impact the population of the border region. The goal of small-scale projects is not to attract tourists or the general public but to build mutual trust and understanding among residents of the border area, strengthening their relationships with one another.
The following types of small-scale projects are supported under the SI-HR Interreg Programme:
- Cross-border cooperation projects
- Projects aimed at building mutual trust
The results of the call will be announced by the end of January 2025. The maximum ERDF contribution for small projects is up to €16,000 for type 1 projects and up to €24,800 for type 2 projects.
