1st workshop on reporting carried out

Within the first deadline of the Open Call for project proposals of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia 5 projects were approved. For the beneficiaries of these projects the workshop on reporting was held on 13 February 2017.

At the workshop which was held in Šmarješke Toplice in Slovenia the guidelines on Information and Publicity as well as Reporting guidelines were presented to the participants. The main part of the workshop was the practical demonstration of reporting in the electronic Monitoring System (eMS). In the second part of the workshop representatives of the Croatian First level control presented to the Croatian beneficiaries national rules regarding the reporting.

67 out of 112 project applications received within the second deadline for submission are administratively eligible

On 14 November 2016 the second deadline for the submission of project applications in the frame of the Open Call for Proposals ended. Until the closure of the deadline 112 project applications were submitted. The results of the administrative check are 67 project applications that comply with the administrative and eligibility criteria. Those 67 projects are now subject of the quality assessment.

Projects that did not pass the administrative and eligibility check will receive the Letter of notification with the main reasons for rejection. Projects rejected in this faze have the possibility to submit the revised application again. Next deadline for the submission of project applications is foreseen in the middle of the year 2017.

New version of the guidelines on reporting on the project progress published

New version (version 3) of Part 5 of the Implementation Manual for Beneficiaries was published, which contains the guidelines on reporting about the project progress.

The new, content wise updated version is available in the Implementation Manual for Beneficiaries (Part 5) or in the frame of the Application Pack of the Open Call.

Signed Memorandum of Understanding between Slovenia and Croatia in the frame of Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia

We are informing you that in the frame of Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia and programme authorities was signed.

In the memorandum both countries and the programme authorities have agreed on the good governance of the Cooperation Programme and defined tasks and responsibilities regarding the financial management, control and audit system and setting up joint structures for successful implementation of the programme.

The interactive map can also help you search for partners and get in touch with potential future partners.

111 project applications submitted within the second deadline for the submission of project proposals

On Monday, 14 November 2016 at 12 p.m. the second deadline for the submission of project proposals in the frame of the Open Call for Proposals of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia in the period 2014-2020 has expired.

By the established deadline 111 project proposals have been submitted with a total value of slightly more than 95 mio EUR ERDF.

The next deadline for the submission of project proposals is planned for mid-2017. The exact date of the third deadline for the submission of projects will be published on the Programme website at least two months before the end of the deadline.

REMINDER – only 5 days left for the submission of project applications

On Monday, 14 November 2016 at 12.00 a.m. (CET) the 2nd deadline for the submission of project applications in the frame of the Open Call for Proposals of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia will expire.

In connection with the upcoming expiry of the deadline we encourage you to submit your project application as soon as possible and not to wait until the very last moment.

In the frame of the Joint Secretariat of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia content wise support and assistance connected to the entry in the eMS, will be available until 12.00 a.m. under the following telephone number: 003861 400 3497.

Kick–off conference on project DETOX

The kick-off conference on project DETOX was held in the Municipality of Lenart on October 19. The conference marked the official start of the project DETOX which is one of 5 approved projects within the first deadline of the Open call of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia in the programme period 2014-2020.

Mayor of the Municipality of Lenart, mag. Janez Kramberger, presented the most relevant information about the project. The total value of project is 908.448,50 EUR and the value of ERDF funds approved for this project is 772.181,21 EUR or 85% of the total value of project.  The project is expected to last from October 2016 to September 2018. Seven partners cooperate in the project, and they are: lead partner Municipality of Lenart, Varaždin City Museum, University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Municipality of Vinica, Municipality of Sveti Andraž v Slovenskih goricah, Municipality of Donja Voća, Municipality of Sveta Ana and two associated partners.

The overall objective of the project is to actively preserve the ethnological heritage of rural areas and include it in the CB sustainable tourism package and the project’s expected change is to achieve a connected and attractive offer, as well as a revival of ethno tourism with increase of cultural heritage visitors by 8,000 visits.

The assembly was addressed also by member of Joint Secretariat. She congratulated the project partners on singing the Subsidy Contract and wished them success with the project`s implementation.

Summaries of the projects approved within the 1st deadline for submission

We would like to inform you that the summaries of the projects approved within the 1st deadline for submission are published on our website in section “Projects”.

The projects were approved by the Monitoring Committee of the programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Croatia. The ERDF Subsidy Contracts have not been signed yet. Summaries of the projects were prepared by the applicants in the frame of the submitted project applications.
